Will I be replacing windscreens as well as repairing? No, Screen Rescue is the only franchise to operate a strict repairs-only policy, which is a fundamental part of our business strategy and operating methods. So there is no need for you to transport glass or lift any heavy windscreens.

Can I operate my franchise from home? Yes, Screen Rescue is a van-based business with no need for a fixed-based workshop or expensive office premises, which enables you to keep start-up costs and overheads to a minimum. The business model is flexible, allowing you to enter either as an owner-operator (where all repairs are carried out by yourself) or as a management franchise. With either of these options, the business is scalable and provides the opportunity to develop the franchise in line with your ambitions.

Does my licence fee include the price of your corporate van? No, your deposit and monthly hire purchase or lease repayments become part of your own set-up costs and working capital requirements. What launch assistance do you provide?

Prior to your launch, strategic online and offline marketing campaigns and PR initiatives dominate the targeted commercial automotive sectors and local press media within your exclusive territory. What’s more, in your launch week, you receive six half- day sessions where you will be working alongside the franchisor, who provides the hands-on practical support and mentoring to ensure your franchise launch is an outstanding success.

What is the duration of your franchise legal agreement and is there a renewal fee? The Screen Rescue franchise legal agreement is granted for a period of five years and has been legally drafted to provide protection to both parties, taking into account all eventualities. The contract is extensive and includes the obligations of the franchisor and the franchise owner, who is offered the exclusive rights to a clearly mapped postcode territory. We believe in working with you long-term and so there is no renewal fee at the end of the initial term. Instead, a new five-year legal agreement is drafted or you have the option of selling your asset. n
