Peter McClelland has become the latest member of Momentum Instore’s installation team to be presented with the prestigious Alan Beck Award. The award, inspired by Momentum Instore colleague Alan Beck, reflects the dedication demonstrated by Beck during his 25 years with the company. Peter was presented with £500 worth of vouchers and a certificate. Fellow colleague Steve Neal was also commended for the award. Managing Director of Momentum Instore Rob Gleave said: “All of our
installers are fantastic so every year it’s a real challenge to pick out just one for this special honour. Peter was ultimately chosen by the Momentum Instore committee for his consistently exceptional work and tireless dedication. We thank both him and Steve, and our whole team of installers, for their hard work this year. As always they have made a major contribution to the success of the company.”

given this great opportunity to work on the project for Umbro in collaboration with their Graphics Agency ‘Love Creative’. Originally the project had been an idea that Umbro envisaged, but were unsure how to develop it. The idea was put on hold for a couple of years, until they found the team at Klassy Covers who were able to assist in bringing their vision to life. “The project was unique with outstanding
results. We really enjoyed the opportunity to bring an already established, successful and developed brand’s concept to life,” explains Creative Director of Klassy Covers Tusneem Jabbar.
Parisbased department store Galaries Lafayette has recently opened its redesigned first floor, a total space of 4,600m2, which is completely dedicated to luxury and design. The opening took place in front of 1,200 guests, revealing an incredible setting for the sale of luxury labels and trendsetting designers. On top of this, there are also accessories, leather goods and a jewellery department on sale in the space, and it was decided that the store design should be a reflection of the luxury of goods on display. Schweitzer Project completed much of the madetomeasure shopfitting,
with materials such as brass and stainless steel helping to create the innovative store appearance. A simple colour palette and use of shapes helps to give the floor a look of luxury and exclusivity that matches the products on display.
