PASSENGER VESSELS

Aluminium catamaran delivery H

ULL 1023, a 50m all aluminium ro-pax ferry, has been launched by

FBMA Marine Inc, The Philippines. Sea Scape 1 will be employed by new south Australian operator Sea SA, and will replace the existing vessel Seaway on the route between Wallaroo and Lucky Bay in the Spencer Gulf, Australia. Designed by Sea Transport Solutions,

Queensland, Sea Scape 1 uses an innovative all-aluminium hull, which should provide the operator with an efficient modern ferry, running six daily crossings. The design has already attracted interest

from other operators which are keen to maximise their capital expenditure, along with lower operational costs. The vessel will now undergo a series of sea trials before commencing her estimated 5000mile voyage to the Spencer Gulf.
