Homecoming 2016 Alumni Dinner & Awards Ceremony

After the run, alums had time to play a

friendly game of soccer or volleyball with current Warrior athletes. Following the games, lectures were provided offering a variety of topics to choose from. The afternoon hosted the traditional

showdown Ping Pong match with President Emeritus Bryce Jessup progressing to the semifinals ranking 4th out of 32 participants while sophomore Wade Graves captured the win. Later, alums enjoyed participating in various class reunions that brought classmates together to reminisce and reconnect. A pregame barbecue was held in the

Crossroads Café before crowds gathered in the Warrior Arena for the men and women’s basketball games against Hope International University. The lady Warriors were defeated 45-53 while the men were victorious 70-61. On Monday, February 1, WJU also

hosted a Presidential Ribbon Cutting for the new Sunset Hall. Local politicians and dignitaries, City Council members, and managers representing three cities as well as WJU Presidential Executive Team and Board of Trustee members, faculty, staff, and students were in attendance to celebrate the much-anticipated event. Following the ceremony, tours of the state- of-the-art facility were given. Undoubtedly, there is much to celebrate at

Jessup. We continue to thank our Lord and Savior for His continued hand upon William Jessup University and look forward to welcoming our growing alumni to celebrate Homecoming and our growing campus for years to come.
