Any KEC member is eligible to run for a seat on the KEC board of trustees, however, candidates must meet certain qualifications. Qualifications for trustees are listed in Article IV Section III of the KEC bylaws. The bylaws also list proper procedure for nominating candidates and electing trustees, as well as other rules that govern your cooperative.


Every co-op member receives a copy of the bylaws when they sign up for KEC service. If you’ve misplaced your copy and would like another, please contact your co-op at 800-888-2731.
