Cimarrron Electric Goes Pink For Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This October, Cimarron Electric is proud to participate in National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer is the second most common kind of cancer in women. About 1 in 8 women born today in the United States will get breast cancer at some point. The good news is that many women can survive breast cancer if it’s found and treated early.

Talk to a doctor about your risk for breast cancer, es- pecially if a close family member of yours had breast or ovarian cancer. Your doctor can help you decide when and how often to get mammograms.

Cimarron Electric employees and management have been strong supporters of fundraising events to aid in the early detection and treatment of cancer.

The 1249 Mile Strengthening and Hardening Project Update

Reed Emerson, Sr. V.P. of Engineering and Opera- tions, reports that we currently have approximately 1125 miles completed in this massive line replace- ment project.

The last two projects in Okeene are finishing up and should be completed by the end of this first week in October.

All engineering work is complete on the Watonga project. We should have this work completed by the middle of November, weather permitting. We are anx- ious to get this project completed and want to thank our membership for your patience and for driving safely around all the trucks and men working.

A much needed bucket truck was delivered this past month. It was or- dered in March of 2015.

New Peterbuilt Bucket Truck Is Delivered

“I can’t think of a single family that hasn’t been af-

fected by cancer,” said Jeff Hyatt, Cimarron C.O.O. “I’m real proud of our employees and all the things they do in their communities to raise money and awareness.”

If you see Cimarron Electric employees wearing pink in the month of October, take a picture and send it to hyatt1@cimarronelectric.com. One lucky winner will receive a deluxe electric grill from a drawing held at the end of the month. Watch for member’s pictures posted on our facebook page at www.cimarronelec- tric.com.
