What to do if the electricity goes off...
1. Check your fuse or breaker box.. 2. Check with your neighbors. Is their power off? If so, have they already reported the outage? 3. Call CEC at 375-4121 or our toll free number 1-800-375-4121 and the trouble will be corrected as soon as possible.
Have your service number, account number, or map location ready. This information helps our dispatchers pin-point the location of your problem. Very valuable if you have multiple accounts.
Connect, Disconnects Not Made On Weekends
Please do not call and request that a connect, disconnect, or reconnect be made from 5:00 p.m. on Friday until 8:00 a.m. Monday, as we do NOT have anyone on duty during that time for that type of work. All connects, disconnects will be made on a Monday through Friday schedule.

To promote awareness, Hyatt said that anyone who takes a photo of our linemen in their pink hardhats, will be included in a drawing for a deluxe grill. Take photos and tag us on Facebook. Drawing to be held Oct. 31st.
Cimarron Electric Goes Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
This October, Cimarron Electric is proud to participate in National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer is the second most common kind of cancer in women. About 1 in 8 women born today in the United States will get breast cancer at some point.
The good news is that many women can survive breast cancer if it’s found and treated early.
* If you are a woman age 40 to 49, talk with your doctor about when to start getting mammograms and how often to get them.
* If you are a woman age 50 to 74, be sure to get a mammogram every 2 years. You may also choose to get them more often.
Talk to a doctor about your risk for breast cancer, especially if a close family member of yours had breast or ovarian cancer. Your doctor can help you decide when and how often to get mammograms.
Cimarron Electric employees and management have been strong sup- porters of fundraising events to aid in the early detection and treatment of cancer. “I can’t think of a single family that hasn’t been affected by cancer,” said Jeff Hyatt, Cimarron C.O.O. “I’m real proud of all the things our employees do in their communities to raise money and awareness.”
In the photo’s below, our linemen are wearing pink hardhats for breast cancer awareness month. All employees wore pink shirts at our 79th Annual Meeting and will continue to promote"Pink for Awareness" this month and in the future.
