Fujian (Datian) Machinery and Foundry Industry Cluster Begin Construction
建开面ҵ目项区ো集Ўу造铸械机）田ל（建ध On Feb. 13, Fujian (Datian) Machinery and Foundry
Industry Cluster held its groundbreaking ceremony in Shangjing Town Industrial Park. Fujian (Datian) Machin- ery and Foundry Industry Cluster is one of the govern- ment support programs of Fujian Province in 2017. So far, 1 million square meters land has been put into use, 110,000 volt of substation has been built and one enter- prises have entered into the park. Te total planning area of the project reaches 15.8 million
square meters and the total investment amounts to 1.6 billion yuan. Te cluster is comprised of seven platforms: A: compre- hensive service center, including residential area, management committee and cultural creative park, etc.; B: platform for key parts, components and general parts; C and D: high-end CNC machine tools and basic manufacturing equipment zone; E and F: intelligent specialized equipment zone; G: industrial transfer area. Te cluster is devoted to be built as a key machinery and foundry industrial park with emphasis on basic manufacturing equipment, intelligent specialized equipment and key basic parts. ■

CITIC Dicastal Wins “2016 GM (China) Green Supply Chain Project: Excellent Supplier”

On November 22, 2016, CITIC Dicastal Co. Ltd. was
awarded the prize of “2016 GM (China) Green Supply Chain Project: Excellent Supplier” at the General Motors (China) 2016 Q4 Supplier Meeting. Te conception of “Green Supply Chain” was first brought up
by the Manufacturing Research Association of Michigan State University (MSU) when conducting a research called “Enterprise Resource Management (ERM)” in 1996. Tereafter GM estab- lished a supplier environment consultant committee to help im- prove its energy efficiency and carry out corporate social responsi- bility to support the governments’ environmental policies. ■
