steels and spiral drill bits for use with electric, pneumatic and hydraulic hand-held breakers and drills. It can also decrease noise and give more efficient operation. There will be a special

introductory offer for hirers placing orders at the Show for steels suitable for use with hammers taking

Products on the Stanley Handling stand will include its powered Stairclimbers, designed to help the user safely transport heavy and awkward items up and down stairs. They can also be used to load vehicles. The Sprinter is the lightest and most

compact model available, for weights of up to 170kg. At the opposite end of the spectrum is the PowerMate M2B which can accommodate loads of 680kg.

The company says that one of its most popular products is the Power Mate L1, which can climb steps of up to nearly 1m high, as well as into the rear of vans and low-loading vehicles, enabling it to act as a mobile tail-lift, loading items weighing up to 295kg.

Carrymate transport grips from DR Gold are designed to facilitate the handling of materials like sheet metal, glass, drywall panels, windows and other construction items, including those with smooth surfaces.

Used in pairs, each grip has a lifting capacity of up to 100kg, and the point of contact can be adjusted to suit the height and reach of the operator to avoid back strain. Three models are available, including the Carrymate 5, Carrymate Senior and Carrymate XL, which have respective span widths of 0mm-80mm, 40mm-120mm and 80mm-160mm.

Rugged MAC3 air tools

MAC3 offers a range of air tools developed for high productivity and low energy consumption. Its hammers are designed so that no additional lubrication is required, avoiding the risk of damage caused by user negligence, and to typically use 25% to 60% less air than some equivalent, so that hirers do not need to oversize the compressors that they provide to power them. The company will highlight its Airgo range of breakers and hammers, Including a new breaker with fixed handles that provides a

quoted vibration level of less than 5m/s2

. The fact

that the tools share many common components also facilitates maintenance.
