Bright ideas from Shindaiwa
Shindaiwa’s new SiteBright range will make its debut at the Show, with two models displayed. The M1 Series is ATEX Zone 1 approved and has been designed for hazardous environments, such as inside tanks used in oil and gas and petrochemical industries, providing 360° of surround lighting at a level of 8,000 lumens, but requires only 50W of power. The unit is shielded by a replaceable anti-static film that is simply
removed when dirty and then replaced. Mounting options include straps, magnets and scaffold clamps. Also new is the Podlite 300, a portable LED unit that provides
50,000 lumens of light and is designed for use in various environments, including construction and outdoor events. It offers 360° coverage and can be operated from a 110V or 240V supply. It also has an IP66 rating against dust and water ingress.

Heavy-duty GreenMech chipper
GreenMech will promote its latest developments, including the Arborist 200 wood chipper, which has a 200mm capacity for a high work rate and comes as standard with a Kubota 45hp diesel engine. It has twin, horizontal hydraulically powered feed-rollers and the in-feed hopper measures 1200mm by 840mm to facilitate the flow of bulky material. An electronically controlled system is incorporated to automatically manage the throughput of material. The manufacturer has also introduced a new blade sharpening unit
to enable customers to sharpen the chipper disc blades themselves, and has also launched a machinery finance service.
