The manufacturer offers a complementary range of connectors to link machines to the extractor, including dust guards for grinders and tube collectors for heavy duty breakers. Also on display will be a new 36V cordless

chainsaw powered by two 18V Lithium-ion batteries, as well as the 125mm DGA508RTJ and 115mm

DGA458RTJ cordless angle grinders, which have brushless motors for longer running times, higher power output and longer machine life.

Pride of place on the A&Y Equipment stand will go to the Yanmar ViO50-6, an improved 5-tonne zero tail swing excavator recently released into the UK. The upgraded machine has a new cab layout, greater cylinder protection, a new boom design, a re-designed door and wider undercarriage parts. These modifications are designed to reduce overall cost of ownership through enhanced performance, reduced service times and improved operator comfort. Also making its debut will be a new addition to the Cormidi CMF mini tracked dumper range, available with various accessories, such as a swivel skip, forks, cement mixer and dozer blade.

lightweight magnesium blade guard to reduce HAV and achieve a better power to weight ratio.

Also on the stand will be a new range of diamond tools with a simple number and colour coding system to enable users to choose the best blade for their application and expenditure level.

They come in three different performance categories, Gold (Elite-Cut), Silver (Vari-Cut) and Bronze (Tacti-Cut), each with variants for cutting different materials.

Brendon keeps quiet

To meet demand for quiet equipment for inner city sites, Brendon Powerwashers has developed a new Super

Quiet diesel Bowserwasher variant, with a quoted sound pressure level average of below 78dBa at 1m. Powered by a Kubota Mini Series diesel engine, its cooling system uses a combination of forced air and water cooling to eliminate the requirement for a conventional radiator, reducing the air inlet opening in the canopy. The soundproofed enclosure canopy hinges open to facilitate access to the main service components, and the engine has shutdown protection for low oil pressure, high coolant temperature, low water and fuel level, monitored by an IP65 Murphy control panel, which also provides service interval reminders for the engine and pump oil and the engine filters. Parts are interchangeable with those on the standard machine which delivers 200 bar at 15 litres per minute.
