EXECUTIVE HIRE SHOW PREVIEW continued

Klingspor’s heavy-duty addition

Three grades of diamond blades and core drills are available in a new line-up to be launched by Klingspor Abrasives. The company says the Extra range is a low budget selection for users who want professional results but who do not need to use them continuously, while the Supra selection is designed to give an optimum balance of price and performance. The Special variants have been developed for heavy duty cutting capability and long life,

even in arduous conditions. Plenty from Probst

Probst will launch many new products, including the Stone Magnet SM600 battery- powered vacuum lifter, an upgraded version of the SM400 which can lift 600kg. A remote control can also be used with the machine, which is designed for lifting stone and concrete items. The AL33-Easy-V splitter can be used to

cut concrete block paving instead of using a diamond blade, producing no dust or noise. This new variant is a one-handled version

allowing easy depth adjustment before cutting, while the AL15-V is a lightweight addition to the range of block cutters. The SDH-L and SDH-M join Probst’s line-up of manhole cover

lifters. Either can now be used with a magnet to help with the lifting process. Also new is the VS-Speedy200, an electric powered vacuum slab lifter, which can lift 200kg and is suitable for lifting items that are porous, while the Levelfix- LF screed tool is a wheeled machine available in different widths to suit individual site applications.

SPE International will launch its new DFG280 diamond floor grinder, designed for the hire industry, after the company invited feedback from hirers regarding what they regarded

as the most important features

needed to produce a machine that would reduce the complexity of the grinding process. The DFG280 supersedes the DFG200 and special Show deals will be available.
