Increased Atlas Copco line-up
Atlas Copco will show a range of hand-held tools, compaction and concrete equipment and rig-mounted attachments. Visitors will also be able to see the recently launched 8 Series of portable compressors which weigh in at less than 750kg across the range, and which are fitted with an improved polyethylene HardHat canopy. Illuminating the North Entrance to the Show will be a HiLight H5+ LED lighting
tower. Other new products on display will include the Cobra PROi electronic fuel-injected petrol breaker.

Protect tools with Datatag
Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, Datatag will showcase
its Micro-CESAR security marking and registration system for small tools
and equipment. It uses various discreet identification techniques to give each item an individual and permanent ‘fingerprint’ which thieves cannot remove. The company says that the system has been evaluated
by a number of manufacturers of small tools, and that the first adoption is expected to be announced on the opening day of the Show. It is designed to act as both a deterrent against theft and as an aid in recovery, and the technology can also be used as a stock management aid, helping companies track their equipment. It also enables users to access on-line Health & Safety advice and user manuals through QR codes on the tools.
Compact Hamm rollers
Wirtgen will display two models from the Hamm range of compact tandem rollers, namely the HD 8 VV and the HD 12 VV. There are a total of 16 machines in the line-up, weighing up to 4.5 tonnes. Four models are available with oscillation, which is designed to give faster results on processes such as the compaction of thin asphalt layers, as well as lower levels of vibration, making them suitable for work in inner city sites near buildings or pipework.
