Stihl highlights cordless tools


Product highlights on Stihl’s stand will include the most powerful chainsaw in the manufacturer’s cordless range, the MSA 200 C-BQ. It has a quiet motor to enable work in noise-sensitive locations, and uses a specially developed PM3 saw chain for long life and smooth cutting. The tool is compatible with Stihl’s AP and AR batteries. Another cordless model on display will be the FSA 90 brush cutter which has ergonomic bike-style handles to facilitate trimming large areas of tough grass. A load control is incorporated to optimise operation and, when fitted with the manufacturer’s AP300 battery, the tool runs for

Loncin’s smooth operator


A new addition to the Loncin range of equipment, which is distributed by E.P. Barrus, is the LC3500io, a 110V industrial open-frame inverter generator delivering 3kW of smooth, stable AC power. The product is designed to be compact and lightweight, with low levels of noise and emissions. It complements the existing LC2000is model which is rated at 1.6kW. Other products from the Loncin range that will be promoted on the


stand include petrol engines from 1.8hp to 29.7hp, generators from 1.6kW to 6kW and water pumps from 1in to 3in.
