ositivity is a word I hate – I’m not even sure why, because it’s a perfectly good word that’s been around for a good three hundred years or more and, according to Merriam-Webster, longer than the more


popular negativity.


In any case, there’s a lot of positivity about at time of writing – which could all have vanished by the time you read this of course. We’ve been doing very well in cricket over the last couple of weeks of June, world cup fever has taken over just about everything, England are through to the last sixteen and even non-football lovers are enthusiastically supporting their offi e ffi c sweepstake teams – I’m told Croatia are quite good.

On top of that it’s holiday season and the weather is glorious with people surrepticiously watering their gardens using hoses because no one’s ever quite sure, especially in the south east, whether there’s a hosepipe ban in place or not.


Of course, hot weather means more business for the cooling industry to boost the growth we’ve been seeing over the last few months into the realms of sustainable growth. So here’s hoping your summer is long, hot and full of propsperity and positivity.
