Samsung

Samsung Electronics has launched a design app for installers. The Samsung 360 Cassette app allows businesses to see what their workspace will look like with what it says is the world’s fi rst circular air conditioning cassette unit fi tted.

The app enables businesses to use augmented reality to superimpose Samsung’s revolutionary new product onto any ceiling, and even adjust position, colour, angle and size of the unit for a realistic view of the product in situ.

Once the Samsung 360 Cassette has been superimposed onto where it may be installed, the image can then be saved and shared, or compared with an existing four-way cassette to provide a realistic before and after shot.

The app’s gallery brings the 360 Cassette to life with a selection of photos that show the air conditioning unit in a variety of work spaces such as an offi ce, school, restaurant and shop. To download the app visit Google Play.

It also gave a digital presentation on a 3D touchscreen, which enabled visitors to fi nd out about the components and controls and browse for more information about the company. The company also gave a virtual presentation of its headquarters and production facilities in China via a 3D-headset. One of the product highlights was the microchannel heat exchanger - MCHE. It was presented as an evaporator and condenser in its A–form and its various sizes.

HygroMatik

The ultimate aim of a spa is to create a space where guests are immersed into a realm of pure relaxation which requires precise temperature and steam control. According to section 5.0 Health and Safety Procedures in the Saunas and Steam Rooms Code of Practice , a thermometer should be

located inside the steam generator. HygroMatik’s new TF105 and TF106 Temperature Sensors, suitable for all steam generators, have been designed from high quality stainless steel. To remain durable through consistent usage, the units include a completely sealed back which makes both systems entirely waterproof. The TF106 has an additional temperature switch. In the unlikely event that the system falls to fault, this second safety circuit answers a high demand for convenience and optimum safety in spas for both guests and facilities management. If the temperature in the steam bath rises to 55°C and the software-based safety device does not respond, the temperature switch opens the interlock system and immediately turns off steam production from the steam generator.

The thermostatic expansion valves also attracted much attention. New models ensure a longer durability, more effi cient service and better performance.

The coil for the MDF solenoid valves was also presented, together with new solenoid valves, 4-way reversing valves and electronic expansion valves and pressure sensors among other products.

Güntner

Güntner’s SLIM, DUAL and CUBIC families of air coolers continue to be certifi ed to HACCP TÜV standards following the most recent comprehensive construction and production inspection.

All Güntner air coolers of the Compact

This is why they are best suited for use in the sensitive fi eld of food production. The high quality and production requirements that are necessary for certifi cation need to be checked in the scope of an annual comprehensive audit performed by an independent body.
