to be about balance. While technological progress and mass construction is key, green cities are ensuring that heritage and environmental issues are not lost from sight. Southeast Asia still has a lot of development to come, but it is increasingly making itself competitive on the world stage. And by trying to remain green, it is attempting to avoid the pollution and huge emissions which have blighted the cities of the past.
