When the Wolves Came In Choreographer Kyle Abraham and his company, Abraham.In.Motion, return to the MCA with a suite of


three dances engaging with questions of civil rights and racial equality. They’re set to a score ranging from new-music composer Nico Muhly to traditional spirituals to a newly commissioned piece by jazz pianist Robert Glasper. Beauty and the Beast The first of Disney’s animated screen properties to make the leap to live action on Broadway back in 1994 (no doubt helped by audiences’ strong affection for the 1991 film, the first animated feature to earn an Oscar nomination for Best Picture), Beauty ran in New York through 2007. But a new tour launched in 2010 with the original creative team (though with a non- Equity cast), so Belle, the Beast,

Chimerica An American journalist tries to track down the Chinese man who stood up to tanks in an iconic image from the Tiananmen Square protests.
