Chicago Improv Festival The 19th annual Chicago Improv Festival celebrates the art of “yes, and...” with a week of off-the-cuff shows at various venues, spotlighting local talent as well as national performers. Various locations (chicagoimprovfestival .org). May 2–8; $5–$50.
Chicago Beer Classic Sample brews from more than 30 participating breweries, including local standbys and national favorites like Half Acre, Revolution, Lagunitas, Magic Hat and more. Lincoln Park Wine Fest Sample more than 80 wines from all over

Mayfest This Lakeview

Bike the Drive You can cruise down Lake Shore Drive on two wheels with your own foot power when the lakefront thoroughfare is closed to all vehicles for a few hours at this annual event.
