Matilda the Musical Matilda takes on nasty headmistress Miss Trunchbull in this adaptation of Roald Dahl’s 1988 novel. Happily, Matilda (coproduced by the Royal Shakespeare Company) follows its hero’s lead, maintaining a high level of cheeky mischief while hitting the requisite sweet notes.
