saFety cloud Southalls

With over 50,000 users from more than 550 UK and international businesses, Safety Cloud is a simple web-based health and safety management system that provides a modern approach to Health and Safety. Uniquely developed by ex-health and safety inspectors, the popular software provides complete and instant visibility of current compliance throughout a whole business.

Currently in it’s 8th year, Safety Cloud is regularly updated with new modules and features to enable users to easily keep on top of their health and safety management. The mobile app allows users to record internal audits, equipment checks, maintenance records and other key data while out on site, with all data automatically uploaded to the cloud. Reminders to renew assessments, audits and training modules are automatically sent well in advance of deadlines, preventing any tasks being overlooked.

Safety Cloud also features e-learning for topics such as manual handling, fire safety awareness and slips and trips, allowing employees to undertake training easily, whilst also providing a clear trail of evidence for duty holders. Business owners can remotely access all their data from any device, providing an instant dashboard view of how well each area of their business is performing and where improvements should be made.

Tailored to the needs of different industries, the cloud-based system encourages a proactive approach towards safety. Safety tasks become incorporated into an employee’s weekly activities, promoting employee engagement, reducing the likelihood of accidents, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

seaair europe Hansen Protection

Hansen Protection’s survival-suit, the SeaAir Europe Pilot Suit, has been carefully comprised using comfortable materials, to create flexibility in usage and ensure the product can be produced to tailor- made specifications.

The SeaAir Europe Pilot Suit completes Hansen Protection’s line-up of Aviation Suits. The Norwegian company has, until now, been lacking an alternative for helicopter crews, and the new suit means they now have a wider, more varied solution.

Hansen Protection’s Product Manager Kunt Aasle commented: “The users’ daily lives will be improved because the construction, choice of materials and the ability to produce to tailor-made specifications opens up for a fit and ergonomics that are exceptional.”

Typical helicopter crews work in the cockpit and have different tasks that place high demands on the flexibility of the suit they choose to wear.

Kunt Aasle continued: “The suit has an ideal fit, and the combination of lightweight and breathability in the fabric gives the users a suit that feels comfortable in all situations.”

The suit also comprises an adjustable neck seal, which is a new neck closure used for the first time on a survival suit. This solution allows the user to vent through the neck seal when it is in standby mode.
