SEALED AIR OPENS NEW EUROPEAN HEAD OFFICE IN
UTRECHT The Netherlands’ position as the location of choice for forward-thinking global organisations has been given a further boost with the decision by Sealed Air to open its new European head office in Maarssen.
Sealed Air officially inaugurated its fully renovated and modern headquarters in Maarssen last month, and Jerome Peribere, Sealed Air CEO, and Ilham Kadri, President of the Diversey Care division, hosted the grand opening, with more than 100 customers, press and industry representatives present.
During the official opening ceremony, presentations were given by Pim van den Berg, Vice Governor of the Province of Utrecht, Jeroen Nijland, Commissioner of the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency, and Patrick Mikkelsen, Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands. NILFISK ACQUIRES US-
BASED HYDRO TEK Nilfisk Group has announced the acquisition of Hydro Tek, Inc., a US-based manufacturer of high pressure cleaners. Hydro Tek has a strong position in the high pressure market, and the acquisition significantly increases Nilfisk’s market reach in this business throughout North America.
Hydro Tek, located in Redlands, California, has a diverse product offering and the company is particularly strong in the range of hot water petrol-based pressure washers. Sales are spread across the country through a strong distributor and dealer network.

As part of the inauguration event, guests also had a sneak preview of the latest innovations from Sealed Air’s three divisions. These included Darfresh On Tray and Enduro Power from Food Care, E-Cube and Korrvu Select from Product Care, and Diversey Care’s Pro Series and TASKI Swingobot robotic cleaning machines.

“It is a key element in Nilfisk’s strategy Accelerate to continuously look for opportunities to grow our business and grow market shares. The acquisition of Hydro Tek expands the product portfolio in the Nilfisk Group and widens the dealer network for increased sales and distribution of our products.”
Hydro Tek was founded in 1985 and is engaged in the development, manufacturing and sales of commercial pressure washers with additional business in water recovery and treatment systems, as well as trailers and accessories.
