I am going to lead a campaign with the placards


emblazoned with my motto - ‘Just one Thing!’. I am going to be fully involved with whatever activity I am doing. I am going to stop and smell the roses. When I am buying bread I will make it a pleasurable experience not something that has happened without me really noticing. I am going to learn how to manage my life without having to be constantly on my phone. It is as if you are always at work. Unless you are in charge of NATO or are one of the emergency services most things can wait. I exempt the call of an off spring or elderly family member but ten to one, it will not be something life threatening more like where are my socks/hair gel/car keys/reading glasses. The place where I do concede some emotional and physical benefit to a bit of light multi tasking is the beauty world. Most products shout loud and proud about the many, many things they do! I have no objection to my moisturiser also being my sun protection. Your body wash can effortlessly exfoliate and moisturise while getting you squeaky clean. Mascara can promote the growth of your lashes while making them darker and longer on a temporary basis. It does not stop there as you can do several treatments at once. Waxing your legs while wearing a face mask and/or a hair pack makes good sense. If you are heading to the bathroom for some ‘me’ time then multi task the heck out of it. I know this sounds like I am back tracking on ‘Just one Thing!’ but you are still doing just that and that is routine maintenance to be the best version of yourself you can be. Leave your phone at the door. Focus on you and you alone. There is a lot of satisfaction to be gained
