FEATUREARTICLE Gayle Force’s Column

Gayle Force International Cornish Medium/Healer, Clairvoyant and Author. All gifts grow, be they spiritual or creative or otherwise. We have to develop them and practise. It is often a learning process, all of our lives, part of our personal journey leading to helping others and sharing with others. It is the same with mediumship. I can remember back to my child hood when my sister and I spent an afternoon going back to a house near us knocking on the wall from outside ,only to get a response of knocking from inside. There was no one occupying the place at the time but we had no idea of that or why we had the response. Together we had different little experiences as children, and young adults especially when I was having my children and my sister knew when I was in labour even though she was no where near me at the time. Today we still tune to each other, even though we live in different countries, when something is happening to one or the other. I was aware that when I visited older buildings, during my younger years, that I had a feeling of if it was a homely place or not. I also began to hear conversations in some of the rooms of larger buildings like Lanhydrock House in Cornwall or indeed Cotehele House also in Cornwall. I heard and saw adults and children that were in spirit in both. At Cotehele I picked a scene from the past when I touched a bed post around a bed in the room. It was like a film unravelling in front of me. I saw a man in puritan costume and a man in the bed in a long nightie who was quite dis- turbed. The scene has always stayed with me. A friend who was with me at the time realised some- thing was happening with me and stood beside as people pushed past me getting to the next room.

Gayle answers your questions

Dear Gayle, Found you right here in this lovely magazine. I am going through a divorce at the moment and moved back to my parents home , as well as changing my work. It has been a difficult time all round. Everything is taking it’s toll and drain- ing my energies. I have been picking up one bug after another. Though on my spiritual side there has been a lot of little happenings that have been drawn to my attention. This has included meeting like minded people and that is great. I did not realise how important my spiritual development was to me. I have found a group of healers to sit with and am enjoying their company and the work of spirit guides who are showing themselves

Dear Darren, Our pathways in life are not always compatible to relationships that we form. It could be bird watching, to dancing, spiritual development to learning to dive. There are many reasons that things sometimes don’t work out quite the way we expected. I too have been through a

divorce, many moons ago. Like you my spiritual life moved forward in leaps and bounds. Though once I found my husband (over twenty years ago) we worked together with our dif- ferent gifts and helped each other as we still do. I feel as I read your letter to me that your pathway with spiritual work is opening for you to help others more. It will bring you great joy, especially as you have found ,meeting people of like mind. I have sent you some absent healing to aid your healing process. Take care. Love and Light Gayle I hope you continue to enjoy this lovely unique magazine:-

Maybe my life change was meant to be Gayle, what do you think?

to me now. Thanks Darren

Dear Gayle, I feel I am a medium but not quite sure. I see spirit and they are often clear to look at just like you and I but sometimes they can be like a negative and pale but still there. Some materialise as I am sitting quietly some seem to just walk towards me. I hear them in different languages but only understand English so that is a bit of a problem.
