Kriya Yoga - World Peace Mission founded by Swami Aliyananda Paramahansa, disciple of Maha Avatar Babaji.
“Change your Self, Change the World, Peace in the heart, Peace in the home.” KRIYA Yoga Weekend 25-26th February, 2017
Originally planned as the ‘World Peace Mission Conference’ - guesting many very interest- ing speakers on subjects relating to World Peace.
As the event drew ever closer, Swami Aliyananda Paramahansa was guided to change the Conference to “The Power of Love for Peace” Kriya Yoga gathering, an event focusing on action through deep meditation using the intense yet simple Kriya Yoga breathing exercises.

Paramahansa’s “Shambala Ashram” at the Queens Hotel in Penzance for the weekend, the Hotel kindly offered discounts on their accommodation for those who attend- ed. Overseas delegates came from Swami Aliyananda Paramahansa’s groups in the USA, Germany, and Austria. There was a healthy mixture of Kriya Yoga teachers, stu- dents and the very welcome newcomers.

Pierson, hold a World Peace Mission Kriya Group for Swami Aliyananda in the States. In 2005 they were in a group of 15 devotees in India who were witness to Swami Aliyananda Paramahansa being given her name by her beloved Master, Maha Avatar Babaji, at his ashram in the Himalayas.
‘Aliyananda’ means

In 2003, Babaji gave Swami Aliyananda Paramahansa the World Peace Mission, and the year after meet and to explain that mission to His Holiness, the Dalai Lama.

Over the weekend Swami Aliyananda talked about the importance of Kriya Yoga to keep you clean and strong of the heart, mind and body. The message of Babaji restates living in accord of the Ten Commandments, the Laws of God, as given to Moses, reaffirmed by Jesus and then Mohammed.
