I chose the Pyrite as a separate stone to indicate the strong masculine energy of confidence and assuredness. It helps us to realise and understand the strength we have when we are truly grounded and aligned with Source. It strengthens willpower and enables the integration of higher vibrational energy into the physical body.

Ghosts and Haunted Houses by Jane Butterworth of Spiritus Exit
After the long, dark evenings of Winter, Spring has arrived and is full of new life but the past few months may have encouraged thoughts and discussion on those loved ones we have lost and those who haunt us from other realms we may not understand. Thus the development of ghost stories around the Winter fire. Seen as harmless fun to create a stir of excitement during the quieter Winter hours, there are others who take the subject of ghosts much more seriously. Harmless folklore evolves into real life experi- ences and gives people an opportunity to open up about incidents they still cannot explain. Ask anyone who has experienced paranormal activity and you will find it leaves a lasting impression, sometimes affecting their quality of life.
As a Soul Rescue Practitioner Healer and paranormal investigator I have been struck by certain repeat patterns in clients calling for help. Firstly, they feel foolish ringing up, awkward I may not believe them. They know something is wrong even though they have gone through copious avenues to try to find a logical reason for their continued discomfort. Most telling is that they are genuinely distressed, frequently have dismissed anything paranormal as rubbish and are in real need of understanding and answers, not to mention a clearing of the problem. Well no surprise there! But still our culture ridicules otherwise perfectly sane people, who get conditioned to keep silent about psychic phenomena as they are surely hallucinating, mad or attention seeking?
Do the following problems affect you too? Noises, footsteps, seeing shadows, sudden temperature changes, moved or moving objects, disturbed pets, light formations, feelings of being watched - well, these are just the ‘good’ phenomena! The not so good include electrical interferences or breakdowns, runs of bad luck, disrupted sleep, seeing partial or full apparitions, voices, deepening feelings of anxiety, then fear or other irrational emo- tions, being touched by unseen hands, being woken up (especially children), becoming
