Drakes shine at Jewellery Oscars
Drakes have made the shortlist for three categories at the UK National Jewellery Awards. The shortlist was announced
during an evening of drinks and canapes at Saint Pauls House in the heart of Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter. The UK Jewellery Awards, often
referred to as the ‘Jewellery Oscars’ is this year celebrating their 25th anniversary. These prestigious awards celebrate the successes of jewellery businesses across the UK in 18 different categories. Local family jewellers Drakes have
reached the shortlist for Retailer of the Year, Best Store Environment and Marketing Campaign of the Year (for #Justbecause which took place last summer.) Andrew Hirshman, Drakes
Director, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have reached the shortlist in not only one but three important categories. Last year was a great year for us and for this to be recognised at these national awards is something we are really proud of. Just to make the shortlist is a huge honour.” The winners of these awards will
be announced on 29th June 2017 at a lavish event at the London Hilton, Park Lane.
