New canopy available from Sound Proof Systems

If they have a JCB Dieselmax engine OEM customers can now build their own generating set in an open or canopied format using selected parts provided by Sound Proof Systems. The recently­developed Flat­Pack model FP­300 is said to be suitable for the JCB Dieselmax engine with power ratings from 150 to 200kVA, reports UKPN.


A


new canopy is now available for the JCB Dieselmax engines based on the proven Flat-Pack design. OEM customers can now build their own generating set using selected parts provided by Sound Proof Systems, says the manufacturer.


In combination with a JCB Dieselmax engine, customers can build an open set or a canopied one by simply adding on the canopy. The fuel tank is bunded, made out zinc- plated steel, has an built-in silencer box and space for a starter battery. The drop-over canopy is also made out of zinc-plated steel and has 4 large service doors but the overall dimensions remain compact, reports the company.


The Flat-Pack model FP-300 is said to be


suitable for the JCB Dieselmax engine with power ratings from 150 to 200kVA. The FP- 300 consists of the following elements: *a tankframe with an optional bund * a zinc-plated steel canopy * engine and alternator beams * an exhaust silencer * exhaust piping * lifting beam and eye


Sound Proof Systems has over 15 years of experience in the industry working with


canopies.
