The notion of a free trade system including multiple sovereign states originated in the 16th Century and has been with us now for 500 years. This course looks at these
agreements to understand how they work, what they cover and how you can benefit from them. The half-day
course goes through a logical process of understanding what FTAs are and what to be aware of to make compliance easier. There will also be a case study
which will show what processes one goes through to participate in an FTA. Following this course, delegates will have a better understanding of how FTAs work in international business. Relevant to import/export
managers and personnel, operations/logistics managers, shipping/purchasing managers and staff and finance personnel.
