Viv joins the team at William Davis as Sales Manager

Loughborough-based William Davis ─ one of the region’s leading housebuilders ─ has appointed new homes specialist, Viv Aldridge, as its Sales Manager. A highly qualified sales professional,

Viv has been involved in the marketing of new homes and prestigious housing developments for nearly 15 years. She said: “As a local to the

Leicestershire area I have always been aware of William Davis’s excellent reputation and having worked for a number of housebuilders, not only in the Midlands, but also as far south as Dorking in Surrey, I have always admired the quality of build of William Davis homes and the locations of their developments, which are exceptional. I was absolutely thrilled when the opportunity presented itself.” Viv will be based at

Forest Field, the company’s HQ, and will work closely with Senior Sales Manager Sally Brookes under the guidance of Sales Director Stephen Rush. Currently with nine ‘live’

sites and plans for a further three new sites to be launched in early 2017, Viv joins the business at a pivotal point in the company’s 80-year history as it moves towards delivering more quality new homes a year than ever before.

The promotions demonstrate the

strength and talent at the firm, which has seen significant growth over the past year. Senior Partner Tim Gladdle said:

“I am delighted to welcome these promotions. At Bray & Bray we continue to develop an outstanding team made up of strong individuals who work hard to achieve the best possible results for clients. I’d like to congratulate all of our recently promoted solicitors and thank them, as well as the rest of our team, for the commitment and dedication they have shown to ensure Bray & Bray remains one of the most respected law firms in the region”.

KPMG names Karl as new regional chair

KPMG has appointed Karl Edge (pictured) as its new regional chair for the Midlands practice. Karl replaces Mike Stevenson

who is moving to lead the firm’s public sector and healthcare practice nationally. Karl is a chartered accountant

with a business development background and, prior to his current role, he was Head of Markets for the firm’s Midlands practice, leading relationships with various local clients. Karl said: “To take over the helm

of the Midlands practice is an exciting opportunity. Having been involved in the Midlands over many years, it is clear to me that the region is changing and there is a great opportunity for us with the growth of our economy and the formation of the Midlands Engine. “We have some exciting industry

sectors based here and I am confident that we will continue to bring value to our clients across all

areas of our business, particularly as devolution starts to reshape our regional economies and as we start to see how Brexit plays out. “Under Mike’s guidance, our

regional business has grown and won a number of impressive new clients in recent years. We will build on this by continuing to invest in the local market place. We have a key role to play in the Midlands and I’m confident that we can make a difference.”
