ADVERTISEMENT FEATURE Accountants go above and beyond

Prime Accountants Group has revealed it has raised an incredible £25,000 in two years of activities and events to help support Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity. The Chartered Accountants,

which has offices in Solihull and Coventry, took part in arts and craft projects with children at the hospital, helped decorate wards, held dress-down days and cake bakes. Staff also wrapped the Prime office in giant bandages to support the hospital’s Big Bandage day. The company’s biggest mission, however, was its ‘3Ps’ Challenge, which

followed the theme of pedal, paddle and peaks, and saw a team climb the three mountains of Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis, cycling to each mountain from the office in Solihull, racking up more than 950 miles in the saddle. The final element to the challenge was to row the length of Lake Bala, Windermere and Loch Ness. The 3Ps Challenge raised more than £17,000 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity. Kevin Johns, Prime Managing Director, explained how seriously the

company takes its role in the wider community. “Prime Accountants Group has been involved in a number of fundraising

and charity projects throughout recent years,” said Kevin. “We recognise that, as a local business, we have a responsibility to

benefit society at large. For the last two years Prime’s nominated charity has been Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity and we are delighted to have raised £25,000 which we hope will make a significant difference to the hospital and the young children they care for.

“Without the collective effort and support of our staff, clients and

professional network, raising this amount wouldn’t have been possible. I would like to say once again thank you to everyone that has been involved over the past two years.” Elinor Eustace, Deputy Director of Fundraising at Birmingham Children’s

Hospital Charity, said: “We are absolutely blown away by Prime Accountants Group’s final fundraising total and would like to say a massive thank you to the team for raising an incredible amount for our hospital. The money they’ve donated will go a long way to making a huge difference to the lives of our brave children and their families as we continue our plans to improve our facilities – enabling us to treat even more children from Birmingham, the West Midlands and around the country.”
