Corinium Radio Cheese & Wine Tasting Evening The usual suspects gather at the feast.

On Friday 14th october, the Scene Team joined the Corinium Radio Crew, plus guests and friends, for a cheese and wine tasting evening high up in the large and spacious Green Room next to the CR studio in the eaves of Bingham House.

We welcomed back Roger Reid, retired manager of Oddbins, and popular veteran host of these tastings, accompanied by our evening’s host, Tina Lewis.

Tina had originally trained under Roger’s e xpert guidance at Oddbins, but nowadays is a wine connaisseur in her own right, working as a successful sales executive for Heritage Wines near Wootton-Un- der-Edge.

Tina was very well received by us (the usual suspects) last year at a previous Corinium Radio wine tasting, both educating and baffling us with her expertise, whilst Roger beamed proudly on.

Once again it was Roger’s turn to play ‘Rachel Riley’, and the evening went very well and both thewine and cheeses - a new touch this time - were demolished swiftly. £150 was raised for CoriniumRadio

Thanks to Roger Reid for bringing in Tina and thanks to Tina for giving freely of her time, and many thanks to Geoff Carr of CoriniumRadio who organised this.
