CHUMS help Alfaz Food Bank
CHUMS (friends of charity) met with Angela and Carmen from Alfaz Food Bank and went to a supermarket and shopped for groceries to the
value of just over 300€. It was great as we filled four trolleys. We were thrilled that we had managed to help and the photo shows Pat, Brian, Marilyn, Peter from CHUMS and Angela and Carmen from the Food Bank with some of the supplies. After we finished shopping we paid and the store said they would deliver the goods for us. We are a fairly new group that enjoys various events while helping to support charities - below are some of our forthcoming events: Friday 2nd Sept, coffee morning – 11.30am, lunch – 1pm - both at The Peppermill, Benidorm. Monday 12th Sept, coffee morning – 11.30am, lunch – 1pm - both at Everest Restaurant, Albir. Wednesday 14th Sept, fun quiz – 2pm at The Why Not Bar, Benidorm. Friday 7th Oct, coffee morning – 11.30am, lunch – 1pm - both at The Peppermill, Benidorm. Monday 10th Oct, coffee morning – 11.30am, lunch – 1pm - both at Everest Restaurant. Albir. Wednesday 12th Oct, fun quiz – 2pm at The Why Not Bar, Benidorm. Friday 2nd Dec, Christmas Party with Zodiac at The Peppermill, Benidorm from 1pm until 6pm.

An evening to remember
Jalon Valley Help have organised a fantastic evening of choral music by two very popular local choirs.
The Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir and Valley Voices will be appearing at the Careline Theatre on 24th September from 7.30pm.
