The essence of these awards is to recognise and reward exceptional women, who through their dedication to business, networking and community engagement are striving to be ahead of the curve, stepping up the game and standing out from the crowd! Being in business on the Costas is not for the faint hearted and it’s time to shine the spotlight on to some exceptional women, and men! Hard work, time, dedication, effort and passion are the staples to ensure success in business.... The GM Promotions Business Women Recognition Awards are open to any female in business on the Costas, via self-nominating, or by being nominated by work colleagues, customers, suppliers and other associates for the following Award Categories:- (Two award categories are also applicable and open to male applicants).
BUSINESS START UP AWARD - CUSTOMER SERVICE AWARD - OUTSTANDING FEMALE EMPLOYEE AWARD COMMUNITY/CHARITY WORKER OF THE YEAR AWARD (male or female)
BEHIND THE SCENES AWARD (male or female) - HEALTH & BEAUTY AWARD - AGAINST ALL ODDS AWARD MENTOR OF THE YEAR AWARD - RISING STAR AWARD - OUTSTANDING BUSINESS WOMAN OF THE YEAR Nominations are open from 26th September to closing date 20th October. Nomination forms from

The 3 finalists in each category will be announced and notified on 21th October. Awards Judging Day - Wednesday 2nd November - (Finalists will be invited to meet the judges).
Gala Awards Dinner Evening and Award Ceremony will be held on Thursday 1st December Venue: Venta La Chata, Calpe - Dress Code ….FABULOUS!
ENTRANTS CAN SELF-NOMINATE OR BE NOMINATED BY WORK COLLEAGUES, CUSTOMERS, SUPPLIERS, OR OTHER ASSOCIATES/ GENERAL PUBLIC. Anyone can nominate more than one person in each category and also nominate for more than one award category. The 3 top finalists in each category will be those with the most nominations who will be invited to meet the judges who, following a judging criteria, will make the final decision for the winner of each award category. (The judge’s decision is final.) The winners will be announced and awarded at the Gala Awards Dinner Evening on 1st December 2016. These Awards are open to all business women who have not only already made a mark as women in business to some extent, but are also ‘women to watch’ in terms of future contribution. The nominees of each award may be employed or self-employed, already head of a team, or she could be just starting in business, forming her own company, or quickly rising through the ranks! The aim of these awards is to highlight the exceptional business women here on the Costas, to recognise, support and celebrate their vision and achievements.

LADIES NETWORKING LUNCH
GM Promotions are launching The BUSINESS WOMEN RECOGNITION AWARDS at the next Ladies Networking Lunch. Females in business are invited to attend on Tuesday 20th September 2016 at Satari’s Restaurant, Moraira. (Calle Dakar 1. Moraira, 2.5 km from the centre of Moraira on the coast road to Calpe, located adjacent to Pedro’s DIY/Ferretaria).
September is a great time to get pro-active again after the summer and to get ‘back to work!’ GM Promotions are kick starting it with this excellent opportunity to expand business contacts with quality networking, a lovely 4 course lunch and likeminded fellow business women. There will also be an opportunity to announce any employment opportunities, in the situations vacant slot at the end of the lunch! And of course as it’s a GM Promotions event there will be a networking game or two!
