SPECIAL VOYAGES A VOYAGE THROUGH
NORWAY’S HISTORY, MUSIC AND ART
Welcome to ten special sailings along the breath- taking coast that focuses on the music, culture, art and history of Norway. With many on-board activities and special excursions included, these voyages provide you with a unique insight into authentic Norwegian culture that few can offer.
We offer five cultural sailings in spring and five in autumn. Experience Norwegian culture at its best, either when the coastline awakens after a long winter or during the autumn gold. Sailing along the coast, there are several exciting cultur- al activities to participate in, both on board the ships and on shore. Some of our concerts will be set in unusual surround- ings; think opera arias in an old industrial mining cave or a concert performed in an old fish-oil factory tank. There will be visits to fascinating churches, including the beauti- ful stone-built church in Ålesund, the Arctic Cathedral in Tromsø, the Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim and Trondenes Church, Norway's northernmost medieval stone church.
The on-board activities will trigger all of your senses, being a mix of lectures, concerts and tastings of scrumptious specialties sourced along the areas we visit.
