Fløibanen funicular
HIKING MOUNT FLØYEN Leave the busy streets of Bergen behind you and take the Fløibanen funicular railway to Bergen’s mountains. Here you find the perfect peace and tranquility for a walk in beautiful nature. Meet up with a local mountain guide at Fløibanen’s top station and enjoy a peaceful two-hour walk (approx. 5km) into beautiful Nordic nature. This tour takes you uphill and downhill along well- marked paths to forests, mountains, idyllic small lakes and beautiful views. Along the way, you’ll learn about Nordic hiking tradition and get to know local flora and fauna. This moderate walk is suitable for most people – all you need is a good pair of walking shoes and a medium level of fitness.

NORWAY IN A NUTSHELL One of Norway’s most popular day trips. This unique tour takes you through some of the most magnificent scenery around Bergen, traversing a landscape of breathtaking fjords, rural villages and the spectacular Flåm Mountain Railway, a masterpiece of engineering. Enjoy the spectacular Auerlandsfjord as well as the narrow Nærøyfjord and drive on the Stalheimskleiva - one of the steepest stretches of road in Northern Europe. In the morning, take a train from Bergen to Voss and continue to Gudvangen by bus, followed by a two-hour fjord cruise to Flåm. From here, the legendary Flåm railway will take you on a 20km stretch to Myrdal where the train back to Bergen is waiting for you.

SOGNEFJORD IN A NUTSHELL Sognefjord is Norway’s longest and deepest fjord. This 'king among fjords' lies in the middle of Norway’s fjordlands and stretches more than 200 kilometers in towards the foot of the Jotunheimen Mountain. Those who visit this dramatic landscape consider it to be one of the most beautiful travel destinations in the world. This organised round trip starts in Bergen with a beautiful boat journey on the Sognefjord, followed by a spectacular train journey on the Flåm Mountain Railway to Myrdal. From here you will catch the Bergen Railway, northern Europe’s highest altitude railway line, for a train ride back to Bergen.

Bergen’s best views by segway
BERGEN BY SEGWAY The tour begins by the cruise terminal (not the Hurtigruten terminal) in Bergen where you will receive an introduction and training in how to drive your Segway. Explore Bergen on wheels visiting several highlights such as the historical UNESCO world heritage Bryggen district and the famous Fish Market. Navigate through green parks and classic alleyways and see the monastery, the national theatre and the Blue Stone, a meeting point for the residents. You will then drive through the city of Bergen before going up to Fjellveien for a wonderful view over the centre of Bergen and the surrounding areas. Some fantastic photo opportunities await!
