TROMSØ & SOMMARØY ISLAND 3 days/2 nights Combine a visit to Tromsø with an excursion to beautiful Sommarøy Island, located 400 km north of the Arctic Circle. Day 1
Overnight at Radisson Blu Hotel, incl. breakfast. Explore the city of Tromsø on your own. Day 2 Full-day guided excursion to Sommarøy island, located about 36km (22 miles) west of the city of Tromsø. This trip takes you through beautiful sea and mountain landscapes of ever increasing wilderness. The island of Sommarøy is connected to the neighbouring island of Sommarøy Bridge with white beaches, fantastic views and vibrant fishing villages. After a guided walk in Sommarøy village, enjoy lunch at Sommarøy Arctic Hotel. In the afternoon, hike up the mountain of Hillesøy for a stunning view. In the late afternoon, you will leave the beautiful island of Sommarøy and return back to Tromsø. Overnight at your hotel in Tromsø. Day 3 Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.
NOTE: There is some walking and a 30-40 min hike over uneven ground involved in this tour.

OVERNIGHT IN A SÁMI LAVVO AND REINDEER SLEDGING 2 days/1 night Try reindeer sledging, the oldest means of transportation, and sleep in a traditional Sámi tent after having looked for the Northern Lights. Day 1 Early evening pick-up from Radisson Blu Hotel and transfer to the northern part of the island of Kvaløya. The location has little artificial light and excellent conditions to look for the Northern Lights. Spend the night under the Arctic sky in a traditional Sámi lavvo (tent), sleeping on reindeer skins in winter-insulated sleeping bags. A warm evening meal will be served. Day 2
Next morning, after breakfast, you will be taken back to Tromsø.
