Associate Members’ Report By Paul Laughter from Etix Greetings to all members of the Federation. Last year at

the 2015 conference, I was honored to be invited onto the Federation board as an Associate member, as well as the Trade Show and hospitality committees. As a fellow Asso- ciate member, I’m looking forward to working with the board and Lisa Hinton to continue making the Federation Convention/IAFE Zone II meeting a great place to show- case our products and services. It’s hard to believe it’s al- ready 2016 and the convention is just a few weeks away, May 12-14, 2016 at the Renaissance World Golf Village Re- sort in St. Augustine, FL. I’d like to take a moment and welcome all new and re- turning Associate members. Please make sure you go ahead and book your rooms, reserve your Trade Show booths, and schedule your showcases now. All of the infor- mation you need to do this is located at floridafairs.org. Trade Show booth registration deadline is May 1, 2016. After that, you can register on-site at the convention. The Trade Show will have prospects from Florida as well as many other Fairs within IAFE Zone II, which includes Del- aware, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. Also, please make sure you take advantage of the opportunity to introduce yourselves at the opening session on Friday May 15th at 8:30am. This is another great way to get in front of potential customers. To all new and returning Fair members, we cordially in-

vite you to visit the Trade Show and take a look around. There will be dozens and dozens of booths offering just about everything you’ll need for your Fair including: equip- ment, Fair supply, special services, insurance providers, software and entertainment/attractions for all ages.

We do things a little differently at Haas & Wilkerson:

 We listen  We provide solutions  We execute

If

you’re looking for a booking agent, musical act, hypnotist, stunt show or carnival, we have you covered regardless of your budget. Also, in addition to the hospitality, showcas- es, auctions and drawings offered every year in the Trade Show, we will be introducing a new “Sticker Game.” Fair members who participate in the game will be encouraged to collect stickers from Associate members throughout the Trade Show. Cash prizes will be given out to participants each day. Trade Show hours are Thursday May 14th from 1pm to 4:45pm, Friday May 15th from 2pm to 5:30pm (Happy Hour 4:30-5:30pm) and Saturday May 16th from 8:30am to 11:30am.

Please support your Associates and

visit the Trade Show each day! Finally, I hope all Federation attendees will consider par-

ticipating in the other networking opportunities provided at the Florida Federation/IAFE Zone II Conference this year, such as playing in the Golf Tournament on Wednes- day May 11th at St. Johns Golf & Country Club, volunteer- ing for the Welcoming Committee (great way to meet new people), and of course, mingling with other members in the Hospitality Suite.

I look forward to seeing you all in St. Augustine this year!
