The 68th Northeast Florida Fair was held October 15-25, 2015 in Callahan
This year's theme was "Let's Get Moo- ving." There was excitement from our board, staff, exhibitors, vendors, and all who attended the fair.
Hildebrand Rides provided a variety of rides and games for the
whole family. Ride specials were available each day of the fair. This year's entertainment included shows by Wade Henry, Just Paul
and kids entertainer Funnybonez. The local school bands and a variety of local entertainers were a highlight of the fair. There was so much to do at the Northeast Florida Fair. The Home
Arts Building included exhibits provided by Nassau County Schools. The exhibits highlighted the fair theme. Other competitions were arts, crafts, canned and baked goods, and horticulture exhibits prepared by all ages. As always, the fair is a time to showcase youth in the community. The 4-H and FFA livestock shows were a success. The hay bale decorat- ing contest was the best ever! The West Nassau Historical Society gave history talks in the Old
Time Village. Other things in the Old Time Village included honeybee keeping, corn shelling, and cross cut saw demonstrations provided by the Florida Division of Forestry. The milk able cow and other interac- tive agricultural activities were enjoyed by the children. The annual talent show was a time for participants of all ages as they
showcased their talents the first weekend of the fair. The Mud Swag Truck Show was enjoyed by all the first weekend.
Fairgoers voted for their favorite truck. Geiger Rodeo provided a first class rodeo the second weekend. Contestants participated in rough stock and timed events. The Northeast Florida Fair is an annual event that focuses on the
