Celebrating 30 years of Down Home Country Fun in Clay County!


Happy Birthday to the Clay County Agricultural Fair! The fair will be celebrating its 30th birthday with opening ceremonies set for Thursday, March 31st, 2016 at 2 PM. Our theme will be “Down Home Coun- try Fun” and we have a very exciting schedule


planned for this year’s fair, so come get a little dirt on your boots with us for our dirty thirty! The fair opens March 31st at 2 PM with a repeat of last year’s success-


ful $2 day. Gate admission is $2 for everyone and all rides on the Deggeller Attractions Midway will be $2 each, with free rides the first hour that the fair is open. In our Cattleman’s Arena, we will facilitate our annual “High School


Night of Competition.” The event features local high school teams com- peting in “games” such as tug-o war, cow milking, cow patty toss, land skiing, a pie-eating contest and a farm animal call. Other events planned include, lawn mower races, a talent show, a classic car show and our popular 4-H/FFA Youth Livestock Show & Sale. Daily Entertainment includes: Rosiers Racing Pigs, Frisbee Dog Show,


Ron Diamond Hypnosis, Dennis Lee Band, Denny the Rodeo Clown, Kip Attaway, Moto Maniacs and daily acts on our Community Stage. Main Stage Entertainment will feature Travis Tritt, A Thousand


Horses, Kanann Smith and more! Check our website for a complete list of our entertainers.


Thursday, April 7th will be Senior Day with free admission until 6


PM. Our Early Florida Pioneer Village will be open daylight hours on both


weekends as well as opening on Thursday April 8th for our Senior Day. This village is unique for reliving life in Early Clay County, Florida. Bluegrass music, moonshine still and our Heritage Garden along with many other demonstrations. Of course we will have our favorite Deggeller Attractions on site


providing all of the fun rides for the whole family to enjoy. Wristband promotions throughout the week, please check our website for more information. We are excited about our 2016 fair; please join us as we celebrate 30
