Russ Harrison, owner of Rudy’s, Inc. of Hernando, Florida was inducted into the NICA Hall of Fame at the NICA Business Expo/Food Show held in Tampa in early February.


Russ is a Director At Large from Associate Members on the IAFE Board of Directors.


Carolina State Fair in Columbia, SC. I’m excited to serve as your new Zone 2 Di- rector for the upcoming 3 year term. Zone 2 is made up of 8 states, including Dela- ware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. You can look forward to a quarterly


newsletter (the first of which went out in January) with updates regarding Zone 2 and the International Association of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE). director. Several personnel changes have taken place at the IAFE. Our best wishes go to Jim Tucker, CFE and Max Willis, CFE upon their retirement from the IAFE Staff. Congratulations to Marla Calico, CFE as she assumes her new role as President/CEO of the IAFE. Also, Lori Hart, CFE has joined the IAFE staff as Director of Education and Mem- ber Services. Lori was formerly with the Kansas State Fair and is a familiar face within our industry. This is the year of change! Vicki Chouris, with the South Florida Fair is our new Membership
