Golfers have their choice of over 200 courses. South Mountain, Camelback and Piestewa Peak surround the metropolis, offering a wealth of hiking, biking and climbing activities. Try booking a stay at a dude ranch or soar above it all in a hot air balloon. If you prefer to keep your feet on the ground and credit card mobile, don’t worry; you will not leave Phoenix complaining about the lack of shopping.
