SIGN News PPB Ltd launches new wide format venture


PPB Ltd has launched Westland Digital, a new wide format media offering that will rep- resent a high standard of materials. It also provides the platform PPB needed to launch a quality range of wide format media. The range comprises of three to seven year vinyl’s; over laminates; banners; roll up and pop up medias. PPB has employed Joanne Smeeton


and Glenn Crowley as Digital Sales Special- ists. Both have spent many years working in the digital solutions team at PaperlinX, and using their expertise and knowledge has en- abled PPB to move quickly into the wide for- mat digital market. The Westland Digital range of media


will be supported by a range of marketing to highlight the quality of Westland products, with applications guidelines and hints and tips on installation. PPB’s in-house conversion and ware-


house facilities provide customers with the choice of bespoke sheeting for any wide for- mat media for UV flatbed print demands. Having stock available for sheeting for deliv- ering next day, enables PPB to provide a 'be- spoke' offering to customers. Richard Proctor MD of PPB Ltd said:

Papergraphics expands hardware range with Zünd cutters


Zünd UK has announced the appointment of Papergraphics as an approved partner and distributor of Zünd solutions in the UK. Available immediately, Zünd's precision


cutters become the latest addition to Paper- graphics' range of solutions, following its de- cision to add hardware to its market-leading media offering. The company will be distrib- uting the Zünd G3 and S3 digital cutters, de- signed to improve the finishing process on a range of applications. Zünd's digital cutting systems are engi- neered for 'maximum efficiency, resilience,


automation, safety and flexibility'. Their mod- ular construction allows for changes to be made and new tools to be fitted after instal- lation. This enables end users to evolve and diversify without buying a new machine, with support always available from Zünd's UK team. Zünd G3 and S3 cutting tables can process materials up to 50mm and 25mm thick respectively, with sheet feeders, roll-off units and cutter extensions available to han- dle an ever-expanding range of substrates.
