SIGN News Papergraphics agrees deal with CWT worktools

Papergraphics has agreed an exclusive dis- tribution partnership with CWT worktools, to distribute its flat bed applicator and linear cutter products to the UK, Holland and Bel- gium markets. The flat bed applicator, or work table,

offers a semi-automated laminating process that reduces production time by up to 85 percent. With manual laminating work requiring much physical effort, it also reduces operator injuries while cutting down waste as human error during handling or ap- plication is eliminated. The work table’s new innovative design

merges glossy thin foil materials as well as heavier sheets with ease; and is capable of laminating soft or hard substrates up to 70mm or 2.7inches thick. The worktable design benefits from no cross-going over- head beam, to improve operator access. The unique design protected traversing system provides a smooth travel of the roll assembly. The table cover is made of hardened

glass, which is unique for CWT laminators, with high quality LED-illumination available on request. Thanks to the modular design of the

work table, it is also easy to transport and in- stall. The units are delivered in compact packages that are 80 percent smaller com- pared to other solutions. This means print professionals can have the mounting table installed by Papergraphics in a confined space or areas where access may be re- stricted. Nathan Atkins, Managing Director of

Papergraphics, said: “We’re delighted to an- nounce our exclusive partnership to distrib-

ute CWT’s innovative work table for laminat- ing print materials. We have no doubt it will be well received in the UK, Holland and Bel- gium. We’ve already set up the table in the demonstration area at our Crawley offices as well as at our new premises in Paisley, Scot- land and look forward to welcoming print pro- fessionals to test these innovative solutions.” Martin Nilsson, Managing Director of

CWT Worktools, said: “We are very excited about signing an exclusive distributor agree-

ment with Papergraphics. The market re- sponse has already been overwhelming.” The distribution partnership will also

provide Papergraphics with the exclusive de- livery of CWT’s linear cutter capable of trim- ming media up to 17 foot (5.13 metres) in a single cut. It is suitable for a wide range of materials, such as vinyl and fabrics, floor car- pets, PVC and rubber.
