Spandex adds HP Latex 300 Series to its equipment portfolio
Spandex has added the HP Latex 300 Se- ries of printers to its product portfolio, 'closing the circle' on a full range of ink options avail- able to its customers. “The addition of the latex series will
help our customers to be even more re- sponsive to their customers’ demands and time frames,” says Leon Watson, Spandex UK General Manager. “The latex technology combined with our ability to deliver materials next day from leading brands such as 3M, Arlon, Avery Dennison, ImagePerfect and Orafol, empowers our customers to create top quality jobs very quickly, which is essential in this competitive market.” The HP Latex 300 Series has been de-
signed for same day delivery of high quality graphics for both indoor and outdoor appli-
cations, making it 'ideal' for vehicle wrapping and retail applications. As the prints come out completely dry, sign makers can achieve faster turn- around which increases job through- put by as much as 50 per cent. Leon said: “Due to the fast
changing nature of in store promotion and how quickly brands want to re- flect new offers, the HP Latex 300 Se- ries is an ideal solution for printers working in this space, and perfectly complements our existing product range.” Jane Rixon, Business Manager, HP
Large Format Production Products, said: “We are delighted to be working with Spandex as a Business Partner for our Latex 300 Series. Spandex offers such an extensive range of

www.nazdar.com New Kitting functionality from Shuttleworth MIS
Shuttleworth MIS has revealed its new, ex- citing software functionality called ‘kitting’. Kitting enables users to easily create esti- mates and quote for several items on an order. It's a 'perfect fit' for anyone wanting to manage one job that involves multiple items such as some types of POS, packaging, la- belling or display work says the company. Kitting means users can add separate
items and quantities to a single enquiry. The Shuttleworth MIS then calculates a price for the entire ‘kit’ and helps to manage the en-
quiry through production. It is ideal for producing ‘vehicle livery
kit’, or complex multipart jobs as the user can add the items and quantities required for the whole or parts of a job onto one enquiry. The Shuttleworth MIS can then calculate and quote a price. When a job is raised the user can choose to create single job or multiple jobs to manage and process the order. The ‘kit’ can then be managed throughout the order and production process right through to delivery and invoicing.
