Cornerstone responds to the needs of parents and pupils

Over the summer, primary school pupils with additional support needs enjoyed a fun and varied activity programme organised by Cornerstone. Cornerstone responded to the needs of the families they support by organising a series of activities including go-karting, dancing workshops, music therapy and pizza making, as part of their Big Lottery funded project ‘Growing Together’. It was a huge success,

Scottish Government MacRoberts secures two places on framework panels Neil Amner

The law firm that worked on two of the most important Scottish Government contracts in recent times has been appointed to Scottish Government’s legal panel framework which offers multi- million pound opportunities. MacRoberts secured places on

two framework panels, covering corporate and commercial contracts and major projects, after a rigorous competitive tendering process which began over a year ago.

MacRoberts previously worked on the acquisition of Glasgow Prestwick Airport by the Scottish Government and the Forth Bridges maintenance project for Transport Scotland. They have further marked the announcement of their appointment with the addition of one of Scotland’s top transport, environmental and parliamentary expert lawyers as a new partner, in a continuation of their recent

growth strategy. Neil Amner, Deputy President of Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, who has moved from DWF, is the seventh new partner to arrive at MacRoberts since October, adding to a near 10 per cent increase in staff in the last year. Further expansion is being

planned now that the firm’s appointment to the Scottish Government’s legal panel framework has been confirmed.
