critical planning and a tremendous amount of work goes into making our annual event an incredible conference. Many thanks to Laura Shelton, DATIA Executive Director, and her staff Kristina Queen, Adina Young and Emily Gilcher for all the intense work they did to make our conference incredible. I would also like to thank our Executive Commitee Sherri Vogler—Chairman Elect, Andy Powell—Treasurer, Scot Taillie—Secretary and all of the DATIA Board Members for all their decisions, dedication and hard work to make this conference incredible. I would be remiss if I didn’t recognize

and thank our incredible sponsors and exhibitors. Did you know they defray 50 percent of the cost of our conference? Tanks for your contributions! Lastly, I would like to also recognize

our partners in the federal government for their presentations and/or presence at the DATIA Annual Conference. Teir presentations are always highly rated by DATIA members. Te time they take to unselfishly answer our member’s drug and alcohol testing inquiries is very much appreciated. Many thanks to Patrice Kelly, the DOT Modal Program Managers, support staff, and Charles LoDico from SAMHSA for all they do to help DATIA remain strong in the fight for employer’s right to a safe and drug-free workplace. Tat being said, there are a few

documents out from the federal government that are seeking comments. I implore you to make comments.

DATIA will comment as an organization representing your best interests, however, the more comments received, the more likely it is to be addressed. Speaking again about the fight for the

employer’s right to a safe and drug-free workplace, DATIA has created a fund to counteract the social normalization of marijuana proliferation. I want to personal thank three DATIA Members who immediately donated to the fund: Advanced Screening of Florida, Five Minutes of Courage in Colorado and TSS, Inc. in Alaska. We will recognize their giſt to the fund with a press release. We will also extend this opportunity to any DATIA member and/or employer who would like to donate to this fund in the near future. You can contact Laura Shelton at lshelton@datia.org or Phil Dubois at philip. dubois@dsimed.com if you wish to donate or if have questions about the fund. You can also utilize this link: datia.org/mjfund or you can go to datia.org, then click on the “Advocacy” tab and see “Marijuana Education Outreach Fund.” Tank you for your efforts to fight for the employer’s right to a safe and drug-free workplace. If you want next year’s conference in Las
