Needs A gift of any amount designated for Flood Relief can help us rebuild homes, as well as supply clothing, food and other basic needs for the victims in the 13 areas of WME outreach in the region.

Flash flooding, mud and solid de- bris clogged waterways and low- land villages, such as Barangay Cross, Balangonan and Malabin- wang. Other villages experienced knee to neck-high floodwaters. Pigs, chickens, clothes, utensils and goods were carried away by the strong current of water as peo- ple ran quickly to find higher and safer ground.

Villages within the affected areas where we have churches and conduct outreach are: (1) Tagaytay Church; (2) Tabgao Church; (3) Kyaol Church; (4) Pangyan Church; (5) Barangay Cross Church; (6) Mangga outreach; (7) Tagaytay outreach at Barangay Cross; (8) Balangonan Church; (9) Mal- abinwang outreach; (10) Baybay Barrio Bukid outreach; (11) Upper Barrio Bukid Church & Home; (12) Anunang outreach; and (13) Daingan Church.

Ministry teams of pastors, native missionaries and Christian educators were sent to assess the condition of the children, to visit people in the hos- pital, and to deliver aid packs to those in need. I have been deeply touched by the suffering of our people. Please be in prayer for our ministry teams and the people affected by these storms in the Philippines.
