Biopharm is also making incredible use of the flexible space Maxim offers, establishing a state-of-the- art clean room and a laboratory onsite, licensed for the production of human cell therapy products, creating a centre of excellence in clinical manufacturing. Te park’s most recent


tenants include the Digital Health and Care Institute (DHI) and Arran Aromatics. DHI has taken 5,000 sq ſt at Maxim, moving its operations from its previous base in Edinburgh. Established by NHS24, the


University of Edinburgh and the Glasgow School of Art, DHI encourages innovation and


collaboration in digital health to beter prepare Scotland’s health services for the challenges of an ageing population. With the support of major


funding from the Scotish Government, it explores new technological opportunities to promote beter health and deliver a higher level of care. With a focus on Scotland as


a whole, DHI was atracted by Maxim’s strategic location between Glasgow and Edinburgh, in the heart of the country and on the edge of the M8, with easy access to international airports. Te close proximity to the


motorway also provides excellent links to hospitals and academic institutions across the country. Arran Aromatics produces


luxury bath, body and home fragrance products that are all designed, formulated and produced on the Isle of Arran. Te company has acquired


a suite extending to 2,077 sq ſt within Maxim 3 on a five-year


lease and will be operational on-site from August 2015. It plans to use the suite as a


central office, and will feature a design studio for the creation of new products and a display area for showcasing new product lines to buyers. With a focus on global


expansion, Arran Aromatics was also atracted by Maxim’s strategic central location. Craig Ritchie, from Maxim


Office Park, said: “We have a wide variety of businesses based at the Park, from insurance brokers and boiler manufacturers to a biotechnology firm and a large- scale public sector operation. “It is testament to our excellent
