HELP of Denia and Marina Alta’s first fashion show
On Friday 8th May HELP of Denia and Marina Alta held their very first Fashion Show at the Activity Centre in La Xara. Cava and canapés were served to the guests prior to the Show which was hosted and ably compèred by HELP President Candy Wright.
HELP would like to say a big thank you to the volunteer models who ‘strutted their stuff’ on the catwalk showing off the many bargain outfits which were available for purchase after the show. As well as the outfits being modelled there were plenty of other bargains to be had from the rails of clothes, shoes and jewellery selected from HELP’s La Xara and Moraira Shops. Many of the outfits on sale were well known brands such as Gerry Weber and Per Una. Thanks must also go to volunteer Amanda Rosser for organising
this sell out event and working tirelessly in the background, along with fellow volunteer Audrey Roper, coordinating both the models and their outfits and also to Sonia and Andy Crabb who organised the music and refreshments. This extremely successful event raised in excess of 800€ for the charity.
